A mathematics teacher with an engineering background at Fatima Al Zahraa School, I am passionate about education, believing it should prepare students for the future, not just exams. I strive to instill a love for learning and curiosity in every lesson. One highlight of my career is winning 2nd place in the Inspiring Teachers Initiative by the Emirates Schools Establishments in August 2023, validating my efforts to make learning engaging. I continuously engage in professional development, earning certifications such as Microsoft Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, and the Digital Teacher Certificate from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of UNESCO for Education for Peace and Sustainable Development. I've also completed AI training courses with Technology Academy. I frequently present at conferences and webinars, sharing best practices and innovative ideas in education. I volunteer with The Digital School by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, providing quality education to students in refugee camps and disadvantaged communities. This initiative enhances literacy rates and equips underprivileged children with tools for academic success. Preparing curriculum content and applying resources on the platform has been incredibly rewarding.  I believe in striving for the best, finding new teaching methods, and caring for our planet. Teaching allows me to make a difference in young people's lives and help create a better future.

Innovative Approaches in Maths Education: Empowering Individual Learning Styles and Accessibility

In this presentation, I'll share innovative methods for making maths education more personalised and accessible. First, I'll discuss a case study about an 11th grade student who excels in maths through drawing, despite being seen as a low achiever. By integrating her love for drawing into maths lessons, as her understanding and engagement significantly improved. Next, I'll introduce a new tool for visually impaired students ( a cube with Braille ). This cube helps them understand maths graphs better than the traditional method of teachers drawing in their hands, enhancing their ability to remember and grasp concepts and let them feel more confident. This to inspire teachers to look for challenges and find solutions to enhance learning for our future leaders , not only teach and leave. These examples highlight the importance of adapting teaching methods to fit individual learning styles and needs. As personalised and inclusive approaches can unlock every student's potential.
