Jebel Ali School, Taaleem

Simon Jodrell is from Barry, South Wales. He graduated with a degree in English from Southampton University and, after completing his PGCE in Bristol and teaching in Hampshire, launched his international teaching career in Taiwan. Simon held headship and principal roles in Malaysia and Egypt before joining the Taaleem group in 2012. As Principal of Dubai British School Emirates Hills, he was integral to the schools Outstanding ratings from the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau and British Schools Overseas accreditation. Simon completed his MBA with De Montfort University and the NPQH from the National College of School Leadership. After 9 years at DBS EH, Simon is now the Principal of Jebel Ali School, part of the Taaleem education group. After completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at Liverpool Hope University, Steph Milner began her teaching career in Manchester, gaining experience across Foundation Stage, Key Stage One, and Key Stage Two. She became a leader in Foundation Stage and Key Stage One, also leading on English and Curriculum Development. In 2015, she moved to Dubai to join a new British Curriculum school, where as Assistant and Deputy Headteacher, she helped secure Outstanding ratings from Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau and British Schools Overseas.
