Fiona Cottam FCCT- BA, HDip, MA, NPQH Fiona joined Hartland International School Dubai in 2016 after a successful tenure at GEMS Education and is a graduate of University College Dublin, having majored in Classical Music and English. Fiona sits on several local and international boards including the COBIS Board, of which she is Treasurer, in addition to several working parties of the International Task Force on Child Protection with a focus on inspection and governance across curriculums. Fiona is the vice-chair of the newly formed British International Schools Safeguarding Coalition (BISSC), is part of the schools advisory group at The University of Birmingham Dubai, delivering to the IPGCE students and also delivers the NPQH and NPQSL for colleagues in the region. Fiona is passionate about supporting women in leadership and is a co-founder of the regions first conference for women in leadership in education held in 2024. She is also a member of the Leadership Council for the World Schools Summit which will be held in Dubai in November 2024.
