Improving safeguarding practice for students of colour

International schools benefit from diverse student populations, and whilst DEI efforts have improved safety for many, students from Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic communities often face racism and bias which impacts on their mental health and psychological safety. Park House, British School Muscat, Nic Bailey (UK) and PMC Safeguarding are undertaking research to identify student experience and improve safeguarding practice.
