Three Saudi universities claim top spot in Webometrics ranking
According to the Webometrics annual ranking of world universities, three Saudi universities, King Saud, King Abdul Aziz and King Fahed universities, topped the ranking among Arab academic institutions, Jordan Times has reported. The ranking measures a university's visibility and impact by evaluating the quality of its web content, "counting all the external [inbound links] that the University web domain receives from third parties." The activity of a university is also gauged through its presence, openness and excellence.
