du scholarships at American University in Dubai open for applications now

Scholarships open for Emirati high school students who achieve minimum 80% in final exams

Paving the way for an Emirati society empowered by education, du, in partnership with the American University in Dubai (AUD), invites eligible Emirati high school students to apply for Bachelor's degree scholarships for the 2014 Fall semester.

Ibrahim Nassir, Chief Human Resources & Shared Services Officer, said: "The future of the UAE's smart society is based on the Emirati leaders of tomorrow being empowered with a strong education. We support the UAE leadership's vision for progress in the UAE, by providing talented Emirati students with the means to pursue degrees. This will allow them to become significant contributors to the growth and development of our nation, as we progress towards our smart government future."

High performing students may be eligible to join du's Masar Graduate Trainee Programme, if they are interested in starting a rewarding career with the region's fastest-growing telecommunications company. During their time with du as a Graduate Trainee (GT) they will receive coaching, a Personal Development Plan, and training to allow them to progress within the company, amongst other benefits.

The registration deadline is 25th July. Eligible students must have an 80% minimum pass rate in their final exams. Scholarships offered by du and AUD are renewable, dependent on academic progress.
