Managing Director of Mind Your Health, George Peterkin created the company 6 years ago as an experienced teacher. George retrained as a therapeutic counsellor, and the company focuses on providing workshops and CPD that focus on mental health, wellbeing and counselling skills. Mind Your Health is based in the UAE and has worked with over 150 international schools around the world so far. Mind Your Health takes pride in offering workshops that are accessible, applicable and most importantly enjoyable. All courses result in international qualifications. As a therapist, George has a particular focus on working with those in recovery from eating disorders, and so places a large emphasis in workshops for staff that focuses on empowering a child, young person or indeed adult's self-esteem and resilience.

A 20-minute chance for those attending to reflect on the 3 pillars for mental health and wellbeing in schools. We will reflect on the importance of each of the pillars, as well as how we can begin building these pillars and their foundations up as a school. The workshop sets a large emphasis that each school is uniquely individual and the approach therefore must also be unique.
