Dipika Sheoran

Dipika Sheoran began her educational journey as a passionate science teacher, committed to inspiring young minds with a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to learning. Her dedication to students’ growth and curriculum innovation quickly set her apart, leading her to take on increasingly significant leadership roles. Over the years, Dipika transitioned from shaping individual classrooms to influencing entire schools, becoming a trusted mentor to middle leaders and staff. Today, as Deputy Head of Secondary at Al Qeyam Charter School, Abu Dhabi, she continues to drive transformative change, using her expertise to empower educators, enrich curricula, and elevate student outcomes on a broader scale. A strong advocate for staff development, Dipika has played a key role in mentoring and empowering middle leaders, implementing professional development programs that enhance teaching strategies and promote leadership capacity within schools. At institutions like Taaleem and GEMS schools, she has led initiatives that foster collaboration among staff with innovative curriculum approach which includes Design Thinking in lessons and aligned learning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to her leadership roles, she is also an Impact Coach, trained by Corwin and their team under the mentorship of renowned education expert John Hattie. Recognized with awards such as Teacher of the Year (2015-16) and the BIG IDEA Amazing Teacher Award (2017), she continues to inspire.
