Maryum is a dedicated professional of Early Childhood Education, bringing over 16 years of leadership experience in the field. With a strong passion for shaping early childhood development, she has been instrumental in leading, planning, developing, and establishing early childhood centres across the UAE. Born and raised in Southwest London, Maryum pursued her higher education at City University, London. After graduating, she moved to the UAE in 2007, where her interest in Early Childhood Education blossomed. She continued her studies, completing her NCFE Cache Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children. Her career began as a Nursery Principal at a British nursery in Dubai, a role she held for over eight years. In 2018, Maryum transitioned into senior roles, focusing on designing and opening nurseries for educational groups, working closely with various curriculums including Finland’s world-renowned early years curriculum. Continuing her passion for Finnish early childhood education, Maryum joined an exciting new venture in 2023, leading the expansion of the world-famous HEI Schools in the UAE. HEI Schools (Helsinki International Schools Group) is an award-winning preschool concept with over 24 centres operating globally. Her commitment to promoting high-quality early education continues to shape her journey in bringing innovative learning experiences to the region.
